MRI Image of Tempel 1 - June 15, 2005
The image on the top is a linear display of the comet on June 15, 2005, when the Deep Impact spacecraft was 16,896,900 km (10,499,250 miles) away from the comet. The image on the bottom is a logarithmic display, which enhances the lower intensity of the comet's coma.
